Enchanted April

photos by Teresa Crawford

World renowned violinist Rachel Barton Pine thrilled over one hundred guests in an intimate, "Enchanted April," evening of music, wine and desserts. The event raised $20,000 in partnership with The Chicago Classical Recording Foundation. The evening provided the perfect setting for co-chairs Jim Ginsburg with CCR, and Rolfe board member Judy Cole to raise awareness of our organizations. We're most grateful to our sponsors Mesirow Financial and the Chicago Acoustic Underground and all the donors who contributed to a spectacular raffle.

Young Professionals Night

Thanks to Chicago’s Bull & Bear - www.bullbearbar.com - at 431 North Wells for hosting our first Young Professionals event. Executive Chef David Blonsky welcomed Anita Mauro and each guest for a meet and greet, featuring food, drinks along with an invitation to join together and fight pancreatic cancer. Maggie Brophy told the 45 guests about us and Board President Jim Rolfe encouraged everyone to get involved.
