The Young Professionals Board (YPB) is the newest wing of the Rolfe Foundation. Launched in April of 2010 and formalized a year later, YPB has rapidly grown from a small, informal gathering of Foundation supporters into a formidable and thriving body that oversees its own slate of unique events and fundraising initiatives. YPB is dedicated to enlisting the next generation of supporters into the fight against pancreatic cancer, and is determined to be a leader in the search for early detection.
The Young Professionals Board is made up of young people who have felt the heartache of pancreatic cancer in their own lives, and of friends and allies who may not have a personnel connection, but who are still committed towards stamping out this horrific disease. Representing a diverse cross section of vocations, backgrounds and interests, the members of YPB are united by their concrete resolve to find an early detection pancreatic cancer test, and to dramatically change the face of this horrible disease.
The Young Professionals Board is always eager to welcome new allies into the fight against pancreatic cancer. There are numerous opportunities to contribute to Rolfe YPB's efforts; you can sponsor an event, sit on a committee, sign up to be an Ambassador, or apply to join the board itself. If you're enthusiastic about supporting our YPB's efforts, we urge you to reach out and tell us how you'd like to get involved. The Young Professional Board's calendar of one-of-a-kind events are festive occasions that spread awareness of pancreatic cancer while also raising money to fund critical early detection research. You're never too young to start giving back, and time and time again YPB's events have joyfully welcomed an entirely new world of supporters into the Rolfe Foundation family. See for yourself, and join YPB for a summer evening on Lake Michigan at Cruisin' for a Cure, a dress-to-impress Holiday Party, or for the frenzy of March Mania. We look forward to seeing you!
